South of San Pedro de Atacama we find Toconao, our first stop, this town was built with Liparita stone, we will visit its square full of history with its bell tower built in 1750 with adobe and cactus wood and the Church of San Lucas, both national monuments. In the Jere Valley we will see the true richness of the Toconares, a canyon that thanks to the microclimate that it possesses and the waters that come down from the mountain range, it is fertil and turns the sector into one of the greenest places of the desert. We will see orchards of fruit trees and varied flora. Then we will visit the Altiplanic Lagoon and Piedras Rojas Salar. Finally the tours visit the National Reserve of the Flamencos in the Chaxa Lagoon were you will be able to enjoy the varied species of birds and the color of the flamingos. The deep blue sky of Atacama, the heights of the Andean volcanoes and the red sunset will give us the farewell to return to San Pedro de Atacama.
