Located at 4,200 meters above sea level and 89 km from San Pedro, the Tatio Geysers offer a spectacular natural show at sunrise. Steam columns up to 10 meters high erupt dramatically between ice and volcanic rock, as the sun rises over the Andes.

This is one of the largest geothermal fields in the world and also one of the coldest places in the Chilean highlands. After the tour, visitors can relax in nearby natural thermal pools.

It’s recommended to leave early in the morning with a guide, wear warm clothing and proper footwear, and take precautions with children and the elderly.
