Salt Flats of Aguas Calientes

This salt flat is a true oasis in the middle of the Atacama Desert. The salt flat is located in a volcanic crater, surrounded by mountains and with hot springs that emerge at some points. This is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing bath in the hot springs and to observe the fauna and flora of the area, including flamingos, vicuñas and giant cacti.
