This itinerary is subject to change without notice depending on weather conditions, strikes, lockouts or force majeure events that are beyond our control. We will always do our best to follow the route as closely as possible. During the rainy season from January to April, the Salar de Uyuni fill with water, so it is not possible to cross in the same way that during the dry season. As a result, the itinerary is changed during that period. The main changes are usually the following: Instead of sleeping in the hostel Salt Puerto Chuvica , stay in a standard guesthouse in the town of Uyuni, and from there we enter the Salar far as conditions permit, if possible visit the Incahuasi Island. otherwise we stop at a place where water reflects the sky and where it seems the sky and the ground merge into one. This trip takes place at very high altitude. places are more than 3 650 meters above sea level, and most guests will feel the effects of altitude. We recommend acclimating to more than 2,000 meters before the trip and bring along medication for headaches and tablets for altitude sickness if you feel bad. And remember, the real key is to drink lots of water and eat light meals! 650 meters above sea level, and most guests will feel the effects of altitude.
