With more than 80 active geysers and a wide variety of fumaroles and boiling mud pools, we'll step into a geothermal setting that is both unique and fascinating. The panoramic views of the mountains and the surrounding nature are striking and convey a sense of scale and natural beauty.

Visit to the village of Machuca
Despite its small size, Machuca offers some interesting sights. We'll explore the village on foot, visit the church and meet local residents. You can also try some of the region's culinary specialities, such as llama empanadas, sold at small food stalls.

Visit to Laguna Cejar
Just like being in the Dead Sea! Because of its high salinity, we'll float easily in its waters, which makes for a one-of-a-kind swim. Laguna Cejar is surrounded by a desert, salt-covered landscape. The contrast between the turquoise water and the desert setting creates a striking, surreal view.

Visit to the Ojos del Salar lagoons
The Ojos del Salar lagoon is an important habitat for various bird species, especially flamingos. If we're lucky, we'll see the flamingos in their natural surroundings.

Visit to Laguna Tebenquiche
Laguna Tebenquiche is a salt lagoon, which means the water holds a high concentration of salt. During the rainy season, the lagoon can fill with water, creating a natural mirror that reflects the sky and the surrounding mountains, forming a spectacular landscape. Watching the sun set from this lagoon will be a unique experience and one you'll want to make room for on your trip.
